SIRSASANA.




The asana which is done using the head is called as sirsasana. This asana is also called as the king of asanas. It is said that people who are doing this asana will have a clear mind. This asana gives a healthy life to mankind. It also prevents the body from all the diseases The steps which are to be followed while doing this asana are:
  • First sit on your soles and place the knees on the ground.
  • The fingers should be locked by both the hands.
  • Then it looks like triangle with the elbows and place it on the ground.
  • Bend forward and place the middle of the head near the finger lock.
  • Now straighten both the legs.
  • Bring the legs neck on your body.
  • Now straighten the knees and keep the completely balance on your head.
  • Be in the position for few minutes.
When returning back to the original position fold the knees first and fold the legs from the thighs.

MATSYASANA.



In Sanskrit the word matsyasana means fish pose. This type of pose is also known as backbend. It is said that matsyasana is the destroyer of all the diseases. The steps to be followed while doing this asana are:
  • In a flat place put a mat or a table.
  • Turn towards the south and sit on the mat.
  • Fold your left leg and place it on your right thigh.
  • Then fold your left leg and place it on your right thigh.
  • The foot should touch your waist.
  • The backbone should be kept straight.
  • The thumb and the forefinger should be folded together.
  • Eyes should be closed.
  • From that position itself lie down at the back.
  • Stay in that position for few minutes.
  • Inhale and come back to the original position.

SARVANGASANA.









Sarvangasana is otherwise called as the shoulder stand.It is also considered as the queen of asanas. The word Sarvangasana in Sanskrit it literally means posture of the complete body. There are certain steps to be followed while doing this Sarvangasana they are:
  • Lie down flat on your back with the palms facing the sides.
  • Now exhale and lift your legs to 30degree, 90degree, then 130 so that it may extend up and behind the head.
  • Stay in the position for few minutes and breathe normally.
  • Lift your body as high as possible since Sarvangasana is a shoulder stand the body should be balanced only on your shoulders and not on your back.
  • Be in this position for as long as possible.
  • Make sure that your legs are together. The feet, ankles, thighs should be touching.
  • While doing this asana you should not turn your head.

ARDHA HALASANA.




The word ardha means half and hala means plough. This asana is also called as the half plough pose. People can learn this asana very quickly.  By doing this asana we can lead a happy and healthy life. There are few steps which are to be done while doing this asana they are:
  • Lie down on your back.
  • Keep the legs stretched, straight and comfortable.
  • Keep the arms stretched on the both sides and palm should be down.
  • Breathe in and slowly raise the legs straight in 90degree position.
  • After few minutes breathe out and slowly put the legs down.
  • While raising the legs the person should not bend their knees.

PASCHIMOTTANASANA.




The meaning for the word paschima is west. The rules for doing paschimottanasana are:
  • Sit on the floor with the legs stretched and straight.
  • Keep the palms on the sides of the hip.
  • Exhale and raise the hands above the shoulder level.
  • From that position itself bend forward.
  • By bending try to touch the big toes.
  • In the position a person should not bend their legs.
  • The face should be kept on the knees.
  • Now inhale release and get back to the original position.

TRIKONASANA AND ITS PROCEDURE.




The meaning of the trikonasana is facing three sides. In those days saints consider the number three as a holy thing. So in that way this asana is also consider as a holy and so powerful asana. Apart from that this asana has three modules saying they are:
  • It guards our life.
  • It helps in preventing our human body from any danger.
  • It also helps in keeping us healthy and strong.
There are certain procedures to be followed while doing this asana they are:
  • The first step to do this asana is both legs should be kept apart.
  • Spread both the arms to the sides.
  • Separate the feet from the distance of the shoulder.
  • Inhale and bend towards your right and touch the foot with your palm.
  • Then exhale and return back to the original position.
  • In the same way inhale and bend towards your left and touch the foot with your palm.

LEARN PADMASANAM




The posture of padmasana looks like the posture of the flower lotus. This flower grows in the lotus pond. The water level in this pond raises but this flower does not go inside the water but it shows its petals outside. The procedure for this asana is:
