Yoga is a spiritual science; many people do yoga for self-relaxations. The Indian sage patanjali in his book of yoga sutras said that yoga is the control of mind. The methods of yoga include ethical disciplines, physical postures, breath control, as well as meditation. Yoga even transforms our life of existence from the physical, emotional, mental to the spiritual. Yoga is practiced over thousands of years for the well being of the humanity. The main aim of yoga is to unite the soul with the universal soul. Yoga is mostly performed by the yogis. The main aim of the yogi is to perceive the light in its true light and to accept the truth in its entirety. The term yoga in Sanskrit means ‘union’. An ultimate goal of yogi is to attain the ‘union’ with the eternal self and with the help of certain physical and mental exercises. Many people choose yoga for getting themselves free from the stress, diseases and to lead a peaceful life.
