SARVANGASANA.

Sarvangasana is otherwise called as the shoulder stand. It is also considered as the queen of asanas. The word Sarvangasana in Sanskrit it literally means posture of the complete body. There are certain steps to be followed while doing this Sarvangasana they are:
  • Lie down flat on your back with the palms facing the sides.
  • Now exhale and lift your legs to 30degree, 90degree, then 130 so that it may extend up and behind the head.
  • Stay in the position for few minutes and breathe normally.
  • Lift your body as high as possible since Sarvangasana is a shoulder stand the body should be balanced only on your shoulders and not on your back.
  • Be in this position for as long as possible.
  • Make sure that your legs are together. The feet, ankles, thighs should be touching.
  • While doing this asana you should not turn your head.
